For wear resisting hardsurfacing applications, rutile covering
Application & Properties:
Thick rutile-covered high alloy electrode depositing hypereutectic chromium hard metal. It is suitable for producing highly wear resisting deposits subject to abrasion by mineral particles. The typical transverse cracks appearing in this hard facing weld metal are not detrimental to abrasion resistance. However, the weld metal is not resistant to impact and shock, and is machinable only by grinding. On difficult-to-weld steels, a buffer layer made with OERLIKON CITOCHROMAX N electrodes is required. OERLIKON CITODUR V-1000 produces very smooth weld beads with flat penetration. Metal recovery is approx. 160%.
Aplikasi & Penggunaan:
Kawat las dengan coating type rutile yang menghasilkan alur las chromium hyper-eutectic yang sangat keras. Sangat cocok untuk melapisi komponen yang memerlukan ketahanan terhadap gesekan oleh abrasi mineral. Hasil las tidak memiliki ketahanan terhadap pukulan dan benturan, dan hanya dapat dibentuk dengan cara digerinda. Untuk material yang sulit dilas, dibutuhkan buffer layer yang ulet: OERLIKON CITOCHROMAX N. Kawat las OERLIKON CITODUR V-1000 menghasilkan alur las yang halus dengan penetrasi yang datar. Efisiensi pengelasan: 160%.
